Cross of Christ Lutheran Church

At Cross of Christ, we are eager to serve the community of Aurora. On Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 10am – 2pm, we will host a FREE car wash in the parking area near “Big O Tire” on Smoky Hill between Ponderosa and E-470. While customers get their car worked on at Big O, eat at The Rock, visit Chase Bank, or are just out and about on a Saturday, they can get their car washed. The members of the Cross of Christ Church launch team just want to brighten your day. It’s all about sharing God’s love with others in real, tangible and simple ways. This event is just one of the ways we have been reaching out. Free grocery bags were given out at the Southlands Farmer’s Market, Frisbees were given out at the Sounds of the Southlands, we hosted a Parent’s Night Out at Antelope Ridge Elementary school and “Tag You’re It” random acts of kindness have been initiated throughout southeast Aurora. Cross of Christ Church will launch weekly worship services from the Southlands Stadium 16 Movie Theatre on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Coffee & conversations will begin at 9:00 AM, with a casual and contemporary worship service at 9:30 AM. Children’s Worship and Nursery will also be available. All are welcome!
