Children’s Ministry
“You must love the Lord your God will all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NLT
At Cross of Christ, our children’s ministry (birth to 5th grade) exists to partner with parents in helping children develop a growing relationship with Jesus. Because we believe your children are a precious gift from God, we are committed to providing them a safe, caring, and fun environment. It is also our desire to provide the highest quality of trained volunteers, so that every child experiences lot’s of love. On Sunday mornings while you go to worship at 9:30 AM, your child can go to what we like to call Kids Church. It’s there that children enjoy music, games, and activities that help them to build friendships with each other and with the God who created them, all while learning the Bible in ways that are age-appropriate and exciting. And if your child wants to worship with you for a short time before heading off to the activities designed just for them, they can simply go to worship with you and then be dismissed at a designated time during the service to join Kids Church already in progress.
