Our Story
“We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.” 2 Peter 1:16 NIV
Everyone has a story. And our story, well, it’s really quite simple. Cross of Christ Church is a mission start of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, which launched on October 4, 2009. We are a messed up, imperfect bunch of people who are humbly following where God leads as we actively help others intersect life & the love of Jesus. You see, we believe that God has placed us alongside others so that His story might become part of their story – your story. God’s Word, that is, His story of salvation, is at the center of everything we do at Cross of Christ. And our desire is that it be communicated in a way that is real to life – your life. As a family of God we place great value on being a community of grace, for while we are not perfect, God in His amazing love has saved us by grace, through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Everyone has a story. And our story, well, we hope it will become your story.
