Living to Serve
“All the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.” Acts 2:44-45 NLT
At Cross of Christ we believe that we are all gifted by God and we are to use those gifts to help people in need, whether it’s those living in our neighborhoods and communities, or sometimes in our own families. The truth is that even the most “put together” of us gets overwhelmed and longs for something more. We wonder how we can find purpose and meaning for daily life and ultimately hope for the future. Well since the church is not a building, but a people called by God, we have the exciting opportunity through acts of service to put our faith into action. That’s why we look for chances every day to love God and to love others, because when we do – lives are changed.

…put the needs of others before our own.
…enjoy first-fruits giving as faithful stewards of all God has given us.
…participate in service projects in our community.
…identify and use our spiritual gifts to serve in our mission to intersect life & the love of Jesus.
…pray for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with others.
