Living to Worship
“They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity – all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47 NLT
At Cross of Christ we believe worship is meant to be part of our everyday life. While we join together each week for casual, contemporary, and family-friendly worship of our God as a community of believers, we also desire to live a lifestyle of worship among our family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers 24/7. How? By loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind; and loving others as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39 NLT).
We know we are living to worship when we…
…make God’s Word the center of our life.
…believe that Jesus gave His life for us on the cross and rose victorious from the grave.
…welcome everyone to our fellowship as we praise our one true God: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
…live each day for God because of what He’s done for us.
…seek God’s will in all things and lift each other up in prayer.
